Have you ever taken a step back, simply to watch? To view and to understand the sheer magnitude of chapters within our lives? As we more often than not, head down and in constant forward thinking and movement of our next steps, commitments and goals, do you ever take a moment, and sometimes those moments are greater in length and time than others, to simply breath and enjoy? To indulge in a birds eye view of your journey and how each and every decision ever made has brough you to, today. In all its glory, truly, we say, thanks. Ranging from the trials and adversities and in result, growth and strength, of the development of character. The building of the self. The courage and bravery to be steadfast and determined. Un – waivered by road blocks. What we deem as important and necessary to attain and achieve in order to get to the next level, is actually, not. A better way, a better path and a journey that is truly designed and destined for us, rather than what we innocently thought. Predictable. Obvious. This is exactly why life is so magical. To continue to strive for, work diligently, focused and relentless, and in result, life will beautifully place you exactly where you need to be.
I always encourage bravery. To be confident in decision making. To have the ability to thoroughly move through proper decision making in light of making the right choice in time. All while being patient and gentle. Life’s chapters are unequivocally fluid. As we move, we must grow. At times, we rest however, continued growth and learnings, is an absolute.
As an artist and a mother, I move through various stages of development. Personally, as well as through and for, my children. Via a variety of lenses, I see and feel development, growth and challenges. To have the ability to delicately hold on, let go, guide, build and educate via new learnings, is key.
Am I speaking in circles? Round and round. Well, yes and, why not. Isn’t that life? The rhythm and movement of life, circles, spirals and speed, sometimes slow, sometimes fast, moves us to where we need to be. Isn’t it though, always perfect timing? It is, if you believe. The starts. The stops. The pauses. All for beautiful reasons. These are our journeys. Your journey. To move to the rhythm of heart beats, racing minds and emotional ups and downs. Roller coasters? Sometimes. Speed bumps? Sure. But we move, we rejoice and we live with fluidity to the music and the beats of life.
I commend you. I commend you to have elevated to this degree. To have shifted, recalibrated, aligned and realigned, to where you need to be, and to where you must be. This is your place, our place, in this rhythmic journey of time. One step at a time.
