Silhouettes of the Season

Hi my beauties!

So nice to back home in Seattle! I took a little time off during Spring Break with my two littles and celebrated life, love and family at our beach house in Florida. It was so nice to reconnect with family and friends. We all live such busy lives; career, school, sports and so much more, that it is so important to stop — and take some time to just be — and enjoy your time with your loved ones. So important.

During my time off from my work, I always kept my Instafam in the loop with my travels, locations, wardrobe and moments that I thought you would appreciate. I love my sunsets! Throughout it all, I always had my work in mind, for instance, sources of inspiration, wardrobing, upcoming trends and future projects and collaborations. I can honestly tell you, there’s so much to look forward to! As I wrote in today’s Instagram post (4/19), ‘Let’s get back into it!!’

Let’s start with reviewing my last post, Silhouette Solutions, an event happening at all Nordstrom locations, coast-to-coast. This is such a great event for our lingerie divisions. Each week, we showcase different styles of bras, how to wear them, and with which style of tops or dresses. This past holiday (Spring Break!), I wore a variety of styles of bras, depending on my style of top or dress. For example, a RACERBACK bra was perfect for my racerback t-shirts. Love! My favorite racerback bra has always been NATORI’s Feathers T-Back Bra.

My STRAPLESS was worn for my off-the-shoulder dresses. I love the WACOAL Red Carpet Strapless because of its strength (I feel really secure in it!), adhesive lining throughout the inside of the band and neckline and, that’s it’s completely seamless. Perfect! It truly is a wonderful strapless bra.

Of course, I absolutely loved wearing my BRALETTES. I especially enjoyed wearing them around the house and to bed. Light support for sleep. The MADEWELL fit nicely. A barely-there feeling. Most bralettes are sized, for example, small, medium and large. Easy to wear. I also enjoy the EBERJEY’s Zelia Lace Bralette. It’s comfy, well lined and I love the adjustable straps. The color palettes and lace detailing are magnificent! EBERJEY bras, panties and sleepwear, are such a pleasure to wear…and to be seen in!

The most convenient bra of all, is my personal favorite, the J-HOOK bra, CHANTELLE’s Modern Invisible Underwire Plunge Bra. Why? It’s a convertible bra that allows you to wear it as a wide strap bra (the “regular” way) or, gathered in the back (the J-Hook and clip hook together both straps in the back). It’s so convenient since it can be worn two different ways. I love!

Okay my beauties, that’s enough of my lecture one of my favorite garments — the bra! My intension is to make certain that you are well wardrobed for the upcoming season. Well fitted, well supported and absolutely loving your lingerie wardrobe. Remember, your lingerie is your first layer. A layer that you typically wear 8-12 hours a day! Let it be perfectly fitted to your body, of excellent quality and makes you feel your very best, everyday. Vibrant, beautiful and happy! YES!!
